The Vision Tower, Brisbane

Brisbane seems to be joining the race to building its own tower, aptly titled the "Vision Tower". Expected to stand at 246 m, the 80 storey tower would be Brisbane's largest tower to date upon completion in 2008. It will have a mixture of retail, commercial and a two storey observation deck, which will further encompass a 5-star restaurant and an art gallery.

I think it would be very appropriate, considering the fact that the fastest growing population growth of any Australian city is Brisbane.

It will stand at 283m tall and is currently on hold after several months of construction, due to the credit crisis. and its completion date was never 2008 it is due (if it continues) in 2011.
